A city-scale reveal

The Blue Line announcement needed to make a future piece of Dubai’s infrastructure feel tangible. Its scale had to be communicated across a live environment, physical installations, and the skyline itself.

A life-size metro and bridge installation grounded the story. Above it, 2,500 drones, projection mapping, and fireworks extended the narrative into the sky. Each visual element had to feel connected across very different scales and production formats.

I worked at the intersection of visualisation and execution. By combining real site photography, 3D models, and digital enhancements, I created visuals that helped communicate the concept and support approvals. I also prepared show graphics, production files, and quick simulations for the wider team.

I spent three weeks on site, refining details, responding to design changes, and coordinating with vendors as the environment came together.

This project shows the part of design I value beyond the initial image: keeping the creative intent clear while working through the realities of a complex production.
